You found me! Maybe you weren't looking for me. Oh, well, here I am.

I quit! I'm tired and retired, so don't bug me. This is MY website created as a place
for me to display my personal ideas and stuff. You may find my "Stuff" somewhat
interesting and maybe amusing. It is not my intension to offend anyone. If you are
offended, T.S. (Tuff Situation).

...and now you strangers know what I look like.

It was Henry Ford who stated, "Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him better take a closer look at the American Indian."

Just a personal observation here: How can anybody give more than 100% effort? To say something like "He gave 110% effort to the project" is a really stupid statement. Well, okay, if he did give 110%, that's probably what killed him.So, don't even attempt to give more than 100%. That's all you really have before taxes.

owl on a line

Never buy anything from someone who is out of breath.

For you swimmers; don't dive into an empty pool.

People who say it can't be done should not interrupt those who are doing it.

May the wind sing to you and the sun rise in your heart.

Alan's Gift List

Yes, here it is! Everybody's been asking for it. I really need (or want) this stuff - some of my favorite things:
Wonderful Almonds - Sam's Club sells this in 3 4-pound bags
Dry-Roasted Peanuts - unsalted or lightly salted
Chocolate Covered Raisins and Peanuts
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Hermits

Booze

Disaronno
Drambuie
Lauders Scotch (cheap) to mix with above Drambuie (a 50/50 mix makes my favorite drink, the Rusty Nail)
Glenlivet Single-Malt Scotch (12 year is fine) (15 year is great, but VERY expensive)
Chivas Regal - a favorite for years - this is a very nice blended, more moderately priced Scotch
Jim Beam Whiskey (Bourbon is good, and so good for you)
Jack Daniels - did you ever have Jack and Coke?
Coconut Rum
Peppermint Schnapps
Crown Royal - nice sippin' whiskey
Fruit Cake - yes, I like this stuff - only available at Christmas (and maybe that's a good thing)
Cigars - nothing special - A&C Grenadiers are fine (I'm a simple man)

Yep, all consumables here. No clothes (well, maybe a nice flannel shirt). No gloves, I have too many. No neckties, I have too many.
I have simple needs and wants. Money is at the top of the list.

If someone is shooting at you, you know you are doing something right.

A Military contract describes a pencil as a "portable, hand-held communications inscriber". . . . okay....
How about a 9mm pistol described as a cordless hole puncher.

Left - Politics - Right

The Biden administration's motto (actually this suites most government agencies)

If it's moving, tax it.
If it stops moving, subsidize it.
If it's still moving, regulate it.

Here's a couple of quotes of caution to all you Democrats/Socialists out there

"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."
- Norman Thomas

"All bad precedents began as justifiable measures." - Julius Caesar

"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have."
- Thomas Jefferson

Really Stupid Obama Quotes

"We are no longer a Christian nation." - Oh, really? When did this happen?
"If you like your healthcare, you can keep it. Period." - What a liar!

A Really Stupid Nancy Pelosi Quote - a reason to pass the health care bill

"We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it"
Well, why would they bother to read it before passing it?

Our Senators and Representatives

In a word (or three), follow the money. Our representatives are not representing us. We should all be mad as hell at them. These creeps are doing what makes them wealthy. Just look at their retirement and health care packages. You only see government getting bigger and not smaller.

Blame Bush has turned into Blame Trump

...so you voted for Obama because you didn't like Bush. And then voted for Biden because you didn't like Trump.
Hey, stupid! Bush wasn't running in 2008. Okay, you didn't like his policies. But, congress was controlled by the Democrats for the last four years of Bush's regime. The Dems passed the bills and Bush signed them. Okay, we can certainly blame Bush for signing the crap drafted by the Democratic congress. That seems fair.

Now, if Hillary won, how different would things be? And if Birnie won, everything would be FREE.

Trump just couldn't imagine getting beat by a guy with dimentia. Wow, the American people have spoken!

God Bless America!

In the "Wise Up" Department . . .

Why aren't TV and Movie people smarter?

There is NO "R" in Autopsy.
Shoot a car with a bullet and it will explode in a ball of flames and jump up in the air ten feet. Cool! Stupid.

Boycott Citgo

Don't buy Citgo or Petro Express gas. You should know why! If you don't, well, Citgo, and now Petro Express, is owned by Venezuela. This Communist country hates America and everything it stands for. Do the right thing and boycott these two gas stations, coast to coast.

Too Big to Fail - not political, just common sense

Really, if they (banks, auto companies) are too big to fail, then why in the hell did we let them get so BIG? Shouldn't the government have cut them down in size, you know, bust them up like they did AT&T years ago? Then, when they fail, they won't be TOO BIG to fail and we can just let them fail without a public bailout. It's cheaper this way and the government will have done it's duty by "protecting" us.

Look at GM. We the people bailed them out with billions of dollars so they wouldn't go bankrupt. Hello, they went bankrupt. Took billions with them. Started over and issued new stock. Screwed their suppliers. This was a government success? Yeah, right.
