How to get to the Campground

The park is about 76 miles from Orchard Lake Road and I-696. A bit north of Lansing.

Drive west on I-96 to exit 122 for M-52/M-43/Stockbridge/Webberville and go north less than a mile to Grand River (M-43) and hang a left to follow M-52. Drive about 1.2 miles and turn north onto M-52. In about 17 miles you will come to Garrison Road. Go past it for about a mile to Bennington Road and hang a left (west). Bennington will end in about 7½ miles at Meridian Road. Turn left (south) and drive for less than a mile to Price Road (462) and turn right (west). Garrison Road is on your left at that corner. The park entrance is a little more than 2 miles on your right.

You can stay on I-96 to US-27 and come into the park from the west side, but that trip is about 9 miles farther.

Commentary

It's a real gamble on the choice of site. There is a lot of vegitation in between the sites. Most sites a quite shady.

Personal Rating

From Alan: I like this park. It's a little bit far to drive.
